Matthew Doolin was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. He was raised in the arts magnet schools of Duval County. LaVilla School of the Arts and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts were his springboard into a career as professional ballet dancer. Matthew began his professional career at age 16, training and dancing under the Orlando Ballet. Matthew supplemented training with the Miami City Ballet School, Orlando Ballet School, and American Ballet Theatre.
Matthew graduated from Butler University, in Indianapolis, IN, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance Pedagogy. Upon his graduation he has spent time performing in China, Montreal, New York City and San Francisco.
Matthew found the National Holistic Institute where his journey into the holistic world ignited in 2016. At NHI he quickly found how his first passion for dance so seemingly intertwined with his second passion, massage therapy.
Matthew has studied under the best teachers of the Bay in a variety of modalities. His externship with Dr. Huang DC Applied Kinesiologist, has increased his knowledge and insight into how to achieve balance within the body; physically, mentally, and spiritually. Matthew efforts in NHI's Student Clinic have given him invaluable experience working with all kinds of bodies. He served as the supervisor of NHI's Student Clinic for last half of his education with NHI
Matthew plans to complete NHI's Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy program this Fall.
